O God, we stand humbly before you at the beginning of this day, aware that our life’s breath and all our hopes lie in your hands. We ask you to hear us, as we pray: O God, help your people.
Shelter all who serve others under your care and give them grace to grow in holiness. O God, help your people.
Open our hearts to the homeless, that we may create for them a dwelling place worthy of human dignity. O God, help your people.
Open our hearts to the starving, that we may offer food to all. O God, help your people.
Help the suffering look with faith on your truth and find strength in the sharing of suffering. O God, help your people.
Help us seek your love all of our days and follow your Word Incarnate with our whole heart. O God, help your people.
